Ten Inch Boardslide On A Foot High Ledge

There's a heavily waxed ledge on the corner of 43rd and Locust Bean. It's right by the elementary school that took place of the old dog park. Ye Old Deg Perk.
In any case, I used to session this place all the time. About every third week or so. The setup was a parking lot and a few parking blocks (for boardslides!) Then they installled this ledge on the perimeter for no reason atall. The surrounding sidewalk is "tight bricks" so that right there is pretty nice, and a great feeling. I couldn't manage a switch 270 to back tail, so instead I eased a backside boardslide (after four tries!!) Peace, losers/lovers.

salad grind days

This past weekend saw a lot of old heads getting together for drink and conversation.

I was happy to see and hang with Zang Sign and his girlfriend, Jeff Sign.

When one of us suggested a skate session, we both raised up to the challenge while Jeff Sign stealthily recorded our moves. I can't remember what was first up or last to go down, but I do know we both landed 180 no comply, backside 180 ollie, fakie bigspin and maybe something else. After that we went back inside and proceeded to dance our minds into the furthest of obliviousness before retreating to the backyard. Our shredding found no boundaries. No pavement neccessary. Instead we did acid drops off the burn barrel onto a comfortable bedding of wood chips.
