5 foot long boardslide on a foot high ledge

That's correct. I'm moving back up. I felt really good cruising over to the school parking lot across from the CVS. Just pushing with the occasional shifty slide. It was hot, but there was a cool breeze coming along often enough for me to forget. When I got to the ledge I approached it with just above moderate speed. "Let's jump on this thing sooner than later." I thought. I hopped up on that pup and slid like a beast, all gnarl dog like. Then I continued over to the parking lot for a perfect half moon manual (frontside) on the sidewalk before finally ending my run with the best backside 180 nollie I've done since at least 2005.

When this kid showed up (maybe he was a tween?) I gave him the respectful from-one skater-to-another, "Sup?" He didn't seem interested in greetings or salutations, which is fine by me. I didn't really feel like giving him any inside pointers like "how to not push mongo" or "don't wear an XXL shirt with tight pants." Let him figure it out for himself. I threw down another bearded, beer belly boardslide across the ledge and no one was as unimpressed as the only other person in the area with a skateboard, skating the same ledge as me. I even went and threw down another perfect half moon manual. I always pretend I'm Neil Blender and instead of a four inch high curb, it's across the deck of a four foot high mini ramp. And there are fireworks nearby.
